If all your wealth is in equities and/or funded by debt as well as in bank accounts, your wealth won't save you from the fall of the dollar or America imploding. You will be able to buy a single extra loaf of bread, that's it. You have to have real capital, preferably land, but also metals. You aren't the owner of a company which will suffer but make you money back once a crisis is over, if you own no business and just money you are fucked. So if you don't want to keep working to secure wealth if SHTF, keep a fuck ton worth of land and metals and other forms of physical wealth.

What you're seeing there is ordinary market behaviour magnified by the current volatility. The majority of the moves happening premarket and afterhours has been standard for a long time.

I think he should have retired long ago. I mean I know it will be hard to let go if I get that old but when Im 70 and people tell me about the internet and I understand nothing then... its better to let others handle that stuff.
He missed out the whole tech boom basically. Nothing wrong with taking a step back and retire with fanfare as the greatest investor ever.

>>19186160
Thats not what this is about. He sold 90% of his stash.
