You've been browsing too much /pol/ OP. Part of being a man is sacrificing yourself to a greater cause, and hence why we all must work one way or another. We sacrifice time, comfort and health to generate value. Toil and labor is part of being human. It doesn't have to be meaningless, it can also bring redemption. No matter what path you choose, something will enslave you. Money, pleasure, material goods, drugs, alcohol, women, idealism, political identity, religion, atheism, or "nothingness". It's the human condition to be a slave, it is part of being itself. Existence itself is a sort of slavery, as we have no choice but to exist. Even death does not remove the energy that composes our very being, and it never can be destroyed. Existence is inescapable - thus it is an eternal damnation, or an infinite realm of possibility. It's all in your head, man.

I used to have psychogenic seizures, suicidal tendencies... turned my life around after a powerful LSD experience, graduated college and got a good desk job. Laid off back in March and now I'm toiling away in construction, literally risking my life for $. I work 7 days a week most of the time and feel more fufilled than if I were not working. It's a path to a goal, and the goal is all in your head.

Can the "slave morality" concept be applied to wage-slaves? I can see a lot of it in their resentment of whoever doesn't play the wagie game.
