Yes it is fake news again. I think 2.5 - 4.5% are perfect rates currently, That way US will suck money in from europe, china, japan and emerging markets who are trapped and cannot raise rates.

dow and sp can easily, double the current level in a very short period of time.

over 90% of hedge funds end up doing some illegal activity. many go straight to jail. best hedge funds are the ones that know how to avoid jail time, it's well known some of the biggest buy the court in new york.

in new york, many people honestly choose jail or jumping out of window over coming to home with empty hands. most of them fail. these lowlifes come from poor backgrounds often, they simply would do pretty much anything you can imagine just to get rich. it's sad.

>Algos are just a fad, making pennies in profits is only attractive in times of recession.

you mean tens of billions. goldman for example make their annual profits 40-60% by trading only. if i recall correctly they had 2013-2015 over 200 winning days annually, losing days 10-30 annually. they might be the best bank trading but they certainly arent the best trading or hft company out there.

>Buy $10,000 worth of the S&P500 and you'll earn $700 per year, on average, FOR FREE.

yeah, that's ofcourse insane generalization based on 100 years avg lel.

in fact, 0-9% annual return is quite unlikely and %10-25% or -5-15% for example are much more likely real annual returns for a single year.

the real reason why indexing beats stock picking is pure math. sp500 performance is due to 5% of the top stocks past 50 years. if you take out 80% outside the top stocks you would have had a clear negative return. so if you dont buy the wide enough you have simply worse odds at markets than you would ever imagine

Singapore has the highest quality of life. It's a small place really. Very high rate of millionares per capita. Lot's of westerners working there too, mainly in banking sector. Hong Kong is very nice too, slightly larger and more chinese feeling downtown than singapore has.

It looks like the oil price will go down soon again, but the oil companies will do slightly better than the wti itself, considering the low price of some of the companies atm.

But overall, not a good spot to invest in oil

you can trade cfds or whatever ther are tons of instruments with zero fees. but fees are least of your worries as a retail trader as you will be fighting mainly spread and slippage. we have large database showing how poorly retair traders do in forex after the retail brokers' spreads and slippages takes efffect. for retailers we would advice to trade only stocks with slower frequency or something. there are markets that are incredibly easy compared to forex
