You should have moved into bonds over a year ago anon

When yield curve inverts put everything into bonds for three years and before pulling it out and putting it back into the market. I'm using tennesse valley authority bonds and leveraged treasury etfs.

Personally, I think this might be the last cycle this strategy is viable due to liquidity trap shenanigans.

A small reminder that I calculated what would happen if you invested in bonds directly after an inversion and waited 3 years before going back into the stock market. It's better to take the signal seriously and not fuck around. Sure, there could be more gains, but the hit is always worse.

Personally, I think we'll have a recession later this year due to lower profits from higher wages and the shock from a trade war, but who knows.

If that is your strategy, then you're best bet is to do this anon. Invest according to the yield curve. Go into bonds for a couple years after it inverts, go into stocks all the other years.

Buy bonds now, wait for recession then sell bonds and acquire stocks for cheap.

Don't make your strategy around meme lines anon. Try to understand economics and the business cycle and just go from there.

Look into bonds, defensive stocks and non-cyclicals

Fucking this. Defending against losses is one of the most important things you can do.

Why I made this graph in the first place.

It's a raw deal. This is why we struggle. Some people simply accept their misery until they perish. Even if I make it, I don't think I could accept just living the life of a capitalist. I'd throw almost everything towards toppling this system.

Swing trading is pretty much a gamble. Here's a better strategy perhaps.

Ah, by the way, maybe I should share this graph when I remove the log scale so you can see the raw difference.
