I wasn't sure whether to post this on here, r9k, or /lit/ (because they are my niggers).

>engineering student
>graduating in 2015
>failed to get internship but feel ok about my chances at a graduate job
>get fast food job one month ago today
>work there for 4 weeks
>get told today that my "trial period" is over and I will be let go
>don't really care
>I clocked in late every single day except for the first day (>paying me minimum wage and expecting more than minimum effort, kek)
>never talked socially with any coworker

Thankfully I wasn't fired, only a contract wasn't renewed. And I have multiple excuses I could use if future employers ask about it. And the money is irrelevant.

I don't get it, when the manager told me about it she said something like, "You're not used to working in teams aren't you?" lolwut? I was late EVERY day and she only indirectly mentions my quietness? She also said I had problems with my serving speed (I worked on a till), but I doubt that is true.

Has this ever happened to you? Yes, this is a blogpost btw.
