My job implemented a hybrid schedule of in the offices 2x a week. For no reason other than “return to normal”. Granted, some departments have to be in the office due to security issues but even then they should only be there for an hour or two not the whole damn day. I’ve been looking my for work since because I know 2 days in the office will turn to 3 then peer pressure from women and boomers will force everyone back into the office. Fuck that. I’ll even take a pay cut if I have to until gme pops.
