1. AI is too early in its infancy to be properly valued.
2. The current technology is actually severely behind the demands required of more advanced models.
3. Although there will be many businesses and industries built out of AI investing in AI for the sake of AI has very little to offer.
4. This is the biggest one. A bunch of autists on /vt/ Were able to quickly build an AI model so fast Google had to shut it down. Meaning the economic moat for AI is only limited by technical ability and resources.
5. AI mania is simply a mania although the tech will change everything people are overestimating the current capabilities and it will actually be smaller independent groups who will push for true innovation but right now AI research is held by a few companies who have strict business practices preventing true innovation.
