Stay out of cities, even if shit will not hit the fan the coming months/years (which it likely will) bankruptcies and eve toons due to late rent payment will make cities a living nightmare. If not, working from home is here to stay further reducing the prices. Tell you girlfriend to shut up, she doesn’t know what she is talking about.

I think for real estate there will be a dip soon, as businesses are going bankrupt due to the COVID-19 lockdown. Thereby, remote working will be the new norm, removing the demand for office buildings and living spaces in cities (e.g. look at New York right now). So what I think will happen is that they will convert office buildings to living spaces into apartments. Further increasing supply, pushing down the price. It may even coincide with a peak in precious metals (silver $50 - $100), so that is the time to sell PM’s and go to real estate. I am just spitballing, wat are thoughts on that?
