I thought GP was kinda acing out Big Banks since it raises money from The Public.

Shouldn't there just be some IRS type forms and regs that any company with 3 CPAs on staff can fill out, then take out legal notices or WTF and start selling stocks to "public"?

I understand some bank might offer this service, but hardly seems like denying it would be an issue, much less having banks dictate all sorts of crazy conditions.

Is it just about having Big Bank seal of approval for sheep and lemming investors?
