Why are people who are buying 30k or 200k of pokemon cards so sure they are investing? I just tried explaining to one that this duded half a million investement in pokemon cards is bad because there is a limited market (rich millennial AND they need to want to buy cards) with very little liquidity which makes cashing out either impossible for what you think its worth or a huge negotiation hassle not to get scammed or ripped off.

They just scoff and think they are the king of kings. What makes pokemon card investors so cocky and smug that they redefine investing terms?

I haven't seen such smug and confidence even from people in this board shilling shit stocks.
