The reference to Japan is not a bad one. Japanification seems the likely outcome for us all. US, Germany, UK, EU, even those small Slavic countries seem to have gone this way. Is there anywhere outside of China and Africa where the natives are breeding and the demographic isn’t completely overweighted toward the seniors? Maybe South America I guess, but that’s is it’s own shitshow.

I guess we’ll see if the Japanese strategy works or if the European strategy works.
