Now is the best opportunity for the biggest gain on the ETH/LINK pair.

Just a heads up.

Genuine question. If LINK really is a centralized oracle network and is destined to fail like many have suggested - what viable alternatives are there really? I mean, we all know every Smart Contract protocol needs reliable external data to achieve mass adoption - if LINK can’t deliver, who would? At this point, it looks like LINK either succeeds and smart contracts gain enterprise adoption or LINK fails and were set back another 5+ years on developing a new oracle protocol. TRB? Shitcoin. BAND? Dead. Mobius? Non existent. Provable/oraclize? Bent the knee already. I don’t see any viable alternative to LINK at this point.

Chainlink mainnet is ready and will be dropped without prior notice. The announcement will not come at any of the Consensus blockchain week talking slots Sergey has scheduled. The team is just sitting on it at this point, and it could literally come in 5 minutes, 5 days or 5 weeks. However this has nothing to do with development. The mainnet is ready. Suspect this is so partners have time to put their ducks in a row. Mainnet will not be what the whitepaper describes, as it will be missing some key features, like node staking (most people already knew this). Expect a blog post from Sergey himself, mapping out further development.

People will be disappointed with what "muh mainnet" actually will be, but the partnership announcements should alleviate this.

Price forecast (this is the only part of this post that is speculation):
If mainnet announcement is not paired with immediate partnership announcements, expect a short mainnet dump followed by 2-3x (from starting level) pump when the big partnerships are made public. If these announcements are paired, expect 3-5x immediate pump. Either way, this starts the slow and steady climb to $5-10. There will not be a singularity until the next normie cryptocurrency bubble (2021 or so).

This might not be what you want to hear, but it's the truth.

see this is the stuff I don't see having any significance unless you're a LINKlet trying to fill up your bags before the singularity. Really none of this stuff matters until mainnet is announced because that is when the partnerships are publicized and we have a clear runway to the bigger numbers ($10-$25-$50-$100). If you sell before this, you deserve what is coming to you. If you just heard about the project and were thus unable to buy at 27c (a couple of weeks ago?), my question would be how is that possible.

Key quote is this:
>currently in conversations about turning [the demo they showed at SIBOS] into a larger implementation for SWIFT and multiple large institutions

The OMG team would have taken selfies with all of the company reps and the price would be +40% by now, but the LINK team are annoyingly anti-hype.

I sold off a bunch of my link at around 0.00125 or so to max out my REQ account so I'm good in terms of short-term gains, the rest of my link I'm just leaving for the long game. It's entirely possible we'll be staying around the 40-50 cent price point (yes I realize we're below that right now lol) for a while, until they finally release some kind finished product or confirm a legit trial with some of the institutions they're working with. If you're looking for short-term gains it may be best to look elsewhere, but there is no doubt that the quality of this project will eventually shine through and take LINK to the fucking stratosphere.

>As you may know, our agreement allows me to take extraordinary measures when markets aren't functioning properly. I currently have reason to believe that a large portion of the ICO market is fraudulent. So, in order to protect weak handed investors from this pump and dump market, I've decided to restrict investors' withdrawals until further notice.
Sincerely, Dr Sergey Nazarov.

If you can adequately shill me your favorite Taylor Swift song and why it is your favorite and if it is part of what I believe is her top 3 discography I'll send you one ETH, of course you will have to keep making LINK memes. Only quality ones though.

It will never come back to your buying range, ever again. I'm sorry bro.

However it still won't be too late at 30 cents, just less profitable. Trying to look out for you here bro. It's at a correction dip now, good time to buy.
