The Fed is corrupt. They would signal that they were doing CBDC and do "experimental investor buy-ins" first to let their friends gather the largest slice. Rather they same to absolutely hate the idea for some reason that is beyond me. My best guess is that it puts the blame squarely on one group of people and doesn't obfuscate it.
