I bought 26 SPY puts at 310$, and 180 VIXY calls at 15$. The SPY puts were bought at 4.43 per contract on 2/26, and the VIXY calls were bought at 1.6 per contract on 2/25. I sold both of them today about 20 minutes before the market closed, and about 10 minutes before that insane spike that happened.
I liquidated about 80% of my stocks (most at a profit, as I was long AMD and Nvidia, though I lost a few hundred on TSLA and DBX) to get the cash to buy those puts and calls.
