Also Gold price is manipulated by etfs because you can't do arbitrage internationally for example when venezuelan gold went below 50% the international price no one could do it due to capital controls on borders or airplanes.

On the other side crypto is not tied to bonds so this dxy run has not yet affected it too much since it's not people selling stocks for usd causing it to go up but movements in the bond market.
