Bitcoin being "slow" is a non-issue for 2 reasons. First, how long does it take for a credit card to truly confirm? 30 seconds? Wrong. It takes weeks as the customer can do a charge back at any time. Compare to btc where a transaction is irreversible after a few minutes. And how slow is BTC really? You can be reasonably sure you wont be double spent in about two minutes as that's how long it takes for a transaction to propagate 90% of the network. If you're listening and you don't here an attempt to double spend you are almost certain that the transaction is valid. Anybody who says different is fudding or ignorant.

There are only so many bitcoins to go around. Many have been lost through forgotten passwords and shit. Many are locked up in hardware wallets. Many will never see an exchange. The ones on the exchanges aren't enough to satisfy demand without rising in price. Simple as that.

The only way to day trade Bitcoin and consistently make 1-2 percent is with a crystal ball so obviously that's not what I'm talking about. The only way that I've been able to pull the percentage off is with Bitcoin as well as altcoins and waiting for the right set-up. I usually see 10-20 opportunities a day and I go in 5-10 percent of my wad on each one. Some trades do well some don't but they average out to, you guessed it, 1-2 percent.
