The war in Ukraine is a good example. I guarantee you could've found chuds posting about Biden's involvement in Ukraine, NATO expansion under Obama etc. probably back in 2016-2019 on /pol/ but any normalfag or leftoid would just accuse them of schizo posting. Then all of a sudden there's a full blown invasion of Ukraine and Normies just think Russia invade out of nowhere. They are too midwit to realize the signs were all there and the chuddies, maybe despite some melodramatic additions, were right.

This wave of memetic thought (early arrivers with niche interests (i.e. chuds) -> general 4chan populace (board specific) -> midwit redditors/twitter normoids -> NYT, NPR, etc.) is pretty common since 2020. ESPECIALLY when it's actually in MSM's best interest (directives from 3 letter agencies) to report on everything late with a heavy, heavy bias on behalf of the Administration.

So who knows if BRICS will end up being a nothingburger or big deal, it's TBD, but if it ends up being a big deal, I bet a lot of the chuddie posts end up being very insightful
