what if the act of withdrawing your staking rewards removes you from the pool, and puts you at the back of some queue?

I come in good faith. I own no XMR. I need you fine gents to explain something to me.
The reason I have passed on holding XMR is as follows:
>Think XMR is good for for privacy
>Have other assests
>Want to make a private purchase of something
>For sake of argument lets say I have BTC, so at time of purchase I convert some BTC to XMR and then purchase whatever I need

This is why I haven't HELD XMR, yet see the utility.
I need someone to tell me why I should hold this that doesn't involve me wanting to evade the IRS
