If the auto makers had been allowed to go under. what kind of a renaissance would we be under? 3D printers were coming online at the time. Now they're being hoarded. but if you wanted to not support a gluttonous union of mexicans. you would have had that opportunity. If you wanted a sick beautiful car that lasts you could have it custom built. US steel wouldn't be for sale to Nippon. but those people were held up for a few more comfy years of expensive sticks stones and glue. Drywall, wood and masonry are not that expensive to produce. Yet they're barred from being gathered. all to keep blackrocks and the feds books out of the red.
the supply of capital has been shutoff and restricted. the bernanke staved off a credit crisis and is harbringer to the capital crisis. Where the very basis and utility are in question.
