RIOT is obstensively a crypto company, but they give shit returns compared to crypto (RIOT can crash at the same rate as BTC, but it has never risen nearly as much)

so whats some good foreign holidays to include in calendar, chinese holidays (china market is closed), japan holidays, any others? i think most euro wide holidays tend to match up with american ones nicely, is there a list of euro-wide days that their markets are closed? or just include France, Germany, UK, maybe Italy?

its cope from thirdworlders

(for perspective, USA was only 46% of world's market cap in 2012, so its safe to assume its around 50% still)

>>Why is the s&p 500 index superior to total market? Less diversified with higher expense ratios is what I see. Not even being an ass I honestly don't know.
because total market is a drag down on s&p most of the time, if you are talking about a worldwide index fund

it may not be a drag in the future, but it has been for many years in the past

pic related, and US market was only 46% of worlds market in 2012 ( im not sure what it is this year)

>>11660954
>>i presume you mean a worldwide market fund? It includes non-US economies which mostly all suck.
ironically this, although past results are no garuntee of future results, so it could change

5/5, everyone should own some of this wonderful monthly dividend stock

SPY and IWD are some you may want to look into too, but SPY might be imploding for a little bit compared to vanguard ETF's
and IWD has slow growth even when the market was good (slower losses too though)

careful with a total world ETF, theres more overlap with your US stocks and that than you might think

>>Yeah I hear a lot about splitting between US and world indicies in some ratio to hedge for risk and whatnot. I guess the idea is that over the next 30 years or whatever, during some years the US will be doing better and other years other parts of the world will be doing better, so by having a mix of both you capture all the good times. But I haven’t really bought into it. Most likely because all I’ve know so far is a great US bull run and the rest of the world being relatively stagnant, so I think I’ll stay 100% US for now cause yolo
USA is > 50% of the worlds total market cap, so be careful how you split it up

American indices make up a good portion of the worlds's markets

and the 10 year return of non US makets is -0.8%
why would you want that?
