Anon's argument that I am defending is that if you can't buy a 10 because you're a poorfag then you might as well invest in 8s or 9s as the price will continue to go up on those, and as 10s moon, the lower grades will be the only thing accessible to normie buyers. But yes, 10s will always be the best buy and the best hold if you can afford it.

Take a look at the sets considered shitty from Diamond and Pearl or HeartGold SoulSilver eras and look at the price. You can apply these gains to shit sets like Steam Siege over a similar period of time. ESPECIALLY when people consider Steam Siege shit, it is going to be rarer in the future cause everyone overlooked its value. You don't have to pay any interest on holding a booster box for 5+ years, so why not just buy them and put them in a corner. Even a $20 gain is still a gain faggot.
