Yes and even more worse to have work above you, I had the pleasure of working with an indian "marketing expert" on a startup team and 40 seconds into the meeting I could tell he only got the role by being a A class bullshitter and knew fuck all about marketing he was fumbling over explaining basic concepts and principles, no one else noticed though and I could careless about exposing him and I eventually just quit to work for a better company, no surprise the startup blew up not long after.
