idk, shit's weird. Currently buying my second rental property and I got a decent price for it all things considered. I'm hoping for a healthy correction in 2021 because this can't be good otherwise.

Let's say a 4.5% safe withdrawal rate on any given stack (usually stocks)

$1M --> $45k per year --> basic frugal retirement
$2M --> $90k per year --> comfortable, semi-luxurious retirement (I'd be happy with this)
$4M --> $180k per year --> wealthy retirement (this is the goal, making it), a couple houses and a boat, and tons of travel
$8M --> $360k per year --> rich retirement, would be far exceeding expectations here, you can afford a few houses and a small yacht at this point

At my first internship it was a group of about 4 dudes around age 20 and then this oddball woman of like age 45. She'd gone back to school for IT.

She would sit there and take notes down for literally everything spoken in the daily scrum meeting. After a few weeks it became apparent that she didn't know jack shit about programming. She didn't even know her loops needed braces. She had to have her hand held through literally everything. They put her on some bs assignment where she basically wasted someone else's time on the phone all day.

Later it was revealed that she was coming in to the building at like 3 am to "work" (they said we could come in and start our day whenever) but was really going to the ladies room to sleep on the couch in there. She was fat and smelly.

To this day I have no fucking idea how they hired her. We had to take a software engineering test during the interview which was fairly rigorous.

Anyway she was worth some great laughs for the rest of us. I don't think she's pursuing programming anymore
