Maybe this will clarify things for you:

The LINK token is the gas token for the chainlink decentralized oracle network.
The LINK token is not a security representing ownership share of the chainlink company.

I don't know why some Chainlink holders seem to believe that they've bought shares in a company.
You don't see this same attitude toward other crypto tokens and shitcoins.

In fact, it's about time we start getting hyped for DECO like we were for CCIP.

If we're going to start seeing cross-chain messaging used for more than token transfers (smart contract execution, etc), especially when transferring information between private and public blockchains, users will need a protocol that successfully obfuscates the content of those messages but can still prove that the messages haven't been altered in any way.

This guy Francisco keeps talking about Chainlink like he's an investor in a company.
I honestly wondered whether he's a plant trying to make a case that Crypto is a security, because he keeps talking about his Chainlink as though it's a security.

Which of course it isn't, and Chainlink has made it clear from Day #1 that the only purpose of the LINK token is to fuel the Chainlink network.

But Francisco keeps talking about how he thinks the token's value should be tied to Chainlink's success, as though it were a security.

But then he made open violent threats toward Sergey so that theory of him being a plant kind of went out the window.
I think he's just a moron who doesn't understand that LINK isn't a security (and most other owners of LINK don't want it to be a security), so he should just shut the fuck up.
