Not really, though they are quite similar in nature. They have many of the same functions such as transfer(), but they are different in a couple of key ways:

ERC-721 tokens are non-divisible which means you cannot give half of your token to someone. They are also non-fungible, meaning they represent a unique asset, like a certificate of ownership for a painting. These tokens are not interchangeable and although they hold value, that value is not the same as any other token of the same type.

In a nutshell:

ERC-20: For money and money-like tokens.
ERC-721: For things and thing-like tokens.

That said, Flowerpatch will have both ERC721 assets (Flowers) and ERC20 assets (SEED Token). You will buy FLOWERs, grow them in our multiplayer world, and harvest them for SEED token, effectively mining it.
