a decent stack of ETH in 2015/16 was considered around 10k, while 1k was a joke, not even worth posting about. whales had well over 10k.
by mid to late 2016, the consensus became that 10k was a make it stack and 1k was the minimum you needed (aka a suicide stack).

imo the same thing happened to link and is valid. 10k link was suicide at ICO, then as people realized the value prop of link, it was clear that 10k is a make it stack, while 1k became suicide.

2016 anon here. Same was said about Ethereum. Things were even more gloomy after the DAO hack when ETH bled for half a year. The FUD was extreme. Anons tried to convince me it was never going to make a new ATH.

But I had conviction, much like many of the early chainlink anons here have. Can you imagine how smug I felt when ETH was $400 less than half a year later?

The moral of the story is if you have a vision, don't let anyone sway you from it. I can't tell you if Chainlink is going to $1000 or whatnot, but I'm holding a bag myself. If I had to guess, I would say Chainlink will be 3rd overall in market cap by 2022. Never let the FUD get to you anons. You will make it.

i think ETH is making decision to go to proof of stake this year, which means no one will be mining, and GPU miners will most likely switch over to ETC
