For lending and crowdfunding utility, pick ELIX. its better than SALT or LEND

The most obvious difference between the two is that Elixir is P2P while Salt isn't.

Other than that, Salt:

is for fiat lending not crypto lending (crypto, Bitcoin atm, is solely meant for collateral) unlike Elixir

is geographically restricted. At the moment, loans are restricted to US citizens and/or people with USD bank accounts

doesn't allow for microloans. The lower bound is $5K and depending on which membership plan you subscribed for, you can get loans up to $100K+

doesn't permit anonymous lending. Your anonymity goes right out the window the moment you go through their membership review

is highly centralized which may or may not be an issue for you depending on how "pure" you want your investments to be.The membership based structure is the place this is most obvious. They also decide which loans are right for their platform, who can be a member, etc (see the footer).

I first bought elix on 9-23 at 1180 says. 1250, didn't think it would be worth much but fuck it, it was $~100. I did some research and realized how young and undervalued this project was. To be honest, the real appeal was the lack of any ICO and a slight bump since it's release days earlier on coinexchange. So I doubled up, with ETH and mistakenly paid twice the price. I was not paying attention to conversion. As soon as I had seen my foolish trade I was convinced I would be holding a bag of 2500 ELIX. Another buy order went through at 1k a day later.

Then it dawned on me. I just put $300 into a shitcoin with little to its name. But they had a good post on Medium. Bitcoin forum thread had a lot of support. I even joined their slack and saw a responsive team.

And I believed in it. I started to shill it hard. Every thread where I had the opportunity I shilled this coin and linked to important info like a good Schiller does. What happens next, you may ask? I watched the price start to rise last week. I wanted to buy LINK and saw high ask prices on ED so I fucking sold it. I sold it for 50% gains, knowing very well it was a long term hold. What did I do with that ETH? Bought more LINK at $.40 like an idiot. A real fucking idiot, anons.

LINK has done well, I suppose. I refuse to sell at this point, even if I am going near a loss. Because I'll never forgive myself for letting go of my ELIX. I've bought back in at 7k, and am optimistic. But goddsmm, for a small trader like myself it fucking hurts.
