neither, I just really like dividend growth investing. small taxed events over the year don't dissuade me from the passive income machine I've built that will fund my early retirement.

1. holding cash can be expensive for a company
2. sometimes the best thing to do with cash is to give it back to the shareholders
3. >>20835546 while this is correct in value, it doesn't help me achieve my goal. right now $40K in dividend income is completely tax free if that is your only income.
4. I get to scratch my balls while other people work to pay me a portion of the companies profits, that's the fucking American Dream right there

when have I ever told anyone to chase dividends?

MSFT is my 3rd largest holding in my div portfolio. AAPL is my 2nd largest holding in my div portfolio. Both produce a rapidly growing dividend, which I've consistently indicated is better than yield chasing.

don't blame me bc your reading comprehension is shite

Net Worth above $500K again, still down on the year based on all the money I put into the market during the crash. Whenever we get back on the bull, whether it be 6-16 months from now, my portfolio is going to skyrocket

also, thanks to the person who shilled me on chainlink at less than $2 a coin, nice gains on that too.

yes, this is a time intensive investment strategy. however you don't need a whole lot of capital to make it work, just time + dividend growth does the major heavy lifting.

i'm not shilling a get rich quick scheme, i'm letting people know a way to safely grow their net worth and provide them with a future stream of passive income. I also advocate for investing in growth stocks even if they have no divvy, as diversification in investment strategies is also beneficial

taxes now are a small price to pay for future safety. also, tax loss harvesting, IRA and the fact that dividend income is taxed much less than my current income, its all gravy baby

for anyone who cares...

when the antibody test for coronavirus is widely available and cheap/free, its going to show basically that the mortality rate is less than half a percent and we shut down the entire economy when we should have just isolated high risk individuals and practiced social distancing, hand washing and mask wearing.

My net worth is back up to what it was in July 1, 2019.

However this doesn't include any dividends or new capital I put in since the crash. slowly but surely.

DOW 40K in 2025
