hey /biz/ what are some businesses that can be started with quite low capital? Prefereably around £3000 but obviously I'd be willing to scrape together more if I had to.

I've been unemployed for a year and opportunities are really bad in my area and I want to take things into my own hands. I'm an outgoing, confident individual who is reasonably intelligent (not deluded though, just enough to be competent and capable).

Any thoughts? For me it's not about what the business is, but the challenge and reward of running it, so I'd happily listen to any suggestions you may have.

Thanks in advance friends.
