Anyone else have investments in the form of firearms? What are your picks? Unfortunately most firearms are poor investments, but there are some foolproof ways to come out ahead in my eyes:

>Registered Transferrable Machine Guns
The only machine guns legal to own in the US needed to be manufactured and registered before the 1986 law banning them from production. This has led to artificial scarcity that causes pic related (a bent coat hanger with a serial number) to fetch $20k+ at an auction. Barring the repeal of this law, they will probably double in price each decade.

>Imported Firearms
Any gun that is currently/recently being imported will eventually stop being brought in and go up in value. Good examples are Bulgarian AKs, and some Russian imports after being sanctioned. Rifles that used to cost ~$800 can now go for $2-3k easily.

>Military Surplus
All milsurp eventually dries up and people will start paying top dollar for what used to be actual trash. For example, "Garbage Rod" Mosins and bubbafucked SKS rifles. Used to be able to buy them by the crate for what a single bad condition example can bring now.

>Short Run or Short Company Life
Anything that is limited edition or the company failed will become a collectors item in the future. Keep an eye on the Hudson H9.
