I live and work in Missoula, I can't seem to find a Grand Rapids. I have found houses like this https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/1708-Idaho-St_Missoula_MT_59801_M70324-65306?view=qv that are pretty decent and I wouldn't mind living in something small and simple but you see it says estimated payment $1k/mo but then you scroll down and it's suddenly $1.3k.. Like sure maybe after 5 years of trading stocks and maybe a couple raises at my job it'll be less than half my check but rn it's not reasonable. Also I'm trying to avoid living in the downtown rundown ghetto areas where your neighbors wall is 1ft from yours.. I even attempted to look at trailer homes because after you pay off the home its just the property rent you pay (I think).. I didn't escape CA to live in some old downtown city I wan't somewhat outskirt of city. I make 35k/yr I should just give up trying to get a decent home.. how the fuck do beaners and niggers own homes in CA but I can't own one in MT
