Hi /smg/, does anyone have experience or insights on writing 'covered call spreads'? That is, writing call credit spreads while also holding the underlying stock. I've already mathed it out myself and it seems like a decent way to limit my downside risk while not sacrificing too much upside considering I'm holding a bunch of spy shares nowadays. Just wondering if anyone here has tried this strategy before and prefers it in lieu of simply holding shares normally.
