I’m betting on the mouse to win the streaming “wars”, and just want to know if I should sell the rest and buy it lower, or just let it DRIP for a few years.

I’ve got 10 shares with Schwab right now ($5 transaction fees). Does it make sense to try to trade this catalyst? The event is after session tomorrow. Do I get out near the end of the session and then get back in after a couple of days?

I’m generally a position trader, and I think Disney will be worth holding on to in the long run with DRIP. So i don’t really know what to do here.

(for at least a year, at which point I’ll reevaluate if we still have recession concerns, and may liquidate 50-75% of my holdings. Generally I want high quality companies with DRIPping dividends like Disney and Apple, who will almost certainly come back even after recess, because consumers consume and shepherds lead sheep, etc.)

Oh shit. Disney’s big day is tomorrow.

I’m betting for them in the long run, but how are we playing this? Do we expect it to pump and/or dump? Do we sell it off on the hype before the meeting, and try to buy back cheaper?

I don’t know about the current management, but Disney has managed to keep up with the cultural zeitgeist for the past 100 years.

If they acquired even more of hulu’s shares after the fox deal, would they have had to disclose it?
