Sure, they'll pretty much stay valuable no matter what.
But circumstances may easily drive up spot enough to double or quadruple their value.
Of course I accept that a good part of the perceived increase in value is merely due to dollar devaluation. But whatever. I can still use it to great advantage, because of reasons.
