Also, pumps rely on things like timing and momentum.

People are predicting it happening. Nearly every time Link pumps, Bitcoin will dump. Especially at resistance.
And not only that, but you can even draw lines that the suppression is targeting; it used to be $9 and now it's $22.

Of course it could still be a coincidence, but it would be statistically anomalous to the point of implausibility.
