If I could find a job in my field in bumfuck nowhere, or work from home I would do it in a heartbeat
but I can't, so I'm stuck paying for shitty house who's price has been inflated by fuckhead boomers getting 5 mortgages for 'passive income'

Not sure
some of it definitely seems unnatural, but that could just be schizos being schizos, or even other XRP bagholders trying to pump their own bags.
For example I looked on twitter the other day and there were multiple 'influencer' accounts hosting giveaways that asked people to share articles in return for an entry into the giveaway.
The article was from 'CNN crypto' (doesn't exist obviously) and alleges GRT holders were coordinating the XRP dump through discord servers, and that the lawsuit has nothing to do with the price drop. Which is insane nonsense, but there were hundreds of accounts sharing this.
Seems more likely that this would just be a network of bagholders trying to keep those who lack critical thinking skills from selling, but it could also very well be connected to Ripple labs. Their dealings are definitely shady, as outlined in the SEC lawsuit.

Yeah I'm more or less studying the same sort of things in my classes, lots of ML/info. theory/comms classes. There is a lot of overlap between medical imaging and communication systems desu.
I was supposed to graduate with my M.Sc this semester but coronachan fucked me. I've gotta do a lot of stuff in the lab, as well as needing patients and (grotesquely) their organs for my thesis, but the lab shut down for a while and patient enrollment was put on hold. Looks like there might be another shut down on that soon too, which fucking blows.
Have far along are you?

alright m8, I know you're hard set on your ideology, but perhaps try looking outside of it for a couple seconds. Smith was wrong about many things.
Economists haven't been particularly successful at predicting the effects of economic shocks, this much should be obvious in the fact that a new batch of economists with different ideological leanings becomes hegemonic every couple of decades.
You're dealing with a complex system, there are no hard set rules like "free trade good", it can be good, it can also not be. It's situationally dependent.
In an economy there is network of actors, all of which impede on the 'purity' of the capitalist system. The government takes taxes, ensures property rights, workers rights, quality standards, etc.
We've already left the world of economist fantasy land where perfectly rational actors maximize their benefit without interference, this has always been a meme, even in the aggregate.
That interference by state actors (a likely necessity for proper upholding of financial contracts, property rights) is going to have an effect on the market of goods, creating imbalances between nations. This is exploitable by state actors who have more control over their people (e.g China), where they can use western countries laws against them to trash their economy (which we've already seen).
The real world is not based on steadfast ideological rules, it's in constant motion with other factors that are difficult to describe mathematically, hence why economists always fuck up.

this
if you're not a retard his advice will not be useful to you.
The people who call into his show are at the bottom possible level of financial competence, the type of people who max out their credit card buying a TV or something and pay interest on it.
For that type of person his advice to not use credit cards, don't live outside of your means and to not take incredibly risky investments is good.
But if you're at all competent with your finances it will not be useful advice.
