Unlimited 4G from MTS for ~$6 per month.
Also have the option for a 500 Mbps fiber line when I eventually settle full time. Russians have their priorities straight, sometimes.

Yes, Full disclosure: I do speak Russian. My parents are ex-soviets. I look like a complete slav except I'm 6'2'' so I mog locals. I married a local siberian girl. First reactions to me were always friendly. There are other westerners living here. Across the street is a Polish family (pic related - polish-tier construction), I met some germans too. A few years ago there were even some American evangelical baptists living way out in the middle of nowhere.

Yea I was puzzled too but I trusted my boomer dad in-law's designs. The house is just the cube part, and the roof slant is for the snow. It surrounds the whole cube and usually you can make a veranda out front, sort of like a front porch, but the cube is where you insulate. Like this house didn't even bother enclosing the roof part.

Also yes, fuck tons of snow.

Yes but also in person. I did some years of college at Tomsk polytechnic and she was at Tomsk State. Met her on a language learning website called "sharetalk" by rosetta (can't find it anymore). I was trying to learn Altay lang.

I married a Siberian girl but I live there on/off using the tourist visa. If you're american, you can get a 3 year unlimited entry visa, stay up to 6 months at a time. Residency I would get through via the marriage but I can't start that until I can commit to living there for 5 years straight.

I'm sure there are procedures for something like "accredited investors" to migrate and live. I wouldn't move there and expect to do a work visa because Russian wage-slave life is pretty brutal. I think you have to be set before you move.
