Yes. Copper bullion is mostly used as a high-margin impulse buy similar to checklane candy. They are novelty products and not investments given the small size and the low price. I have about 100 pounds of copper pennies and occasionally pick up boxes of pennies to sort.
I also never bother to return them as I believe Zinc is also a sleeper metal waiting for massive returns. Being something like a quarter of the cost of Copper, it is an invaluable metal and the world's supply is draining quickly. Also, the fact that the coinage is state-minted gives you that little level of protection just incase.
The bull case for metals is astounding when you see the supply dropping off a cliff. What makes it all possible is the bond market being a vacuum for credit, which gives people financial incentives (as opposed to economic incentives) to sell their commodities for cheap. But packed deep inside of all of these metals, coins and bullion is not just the commodity, but all of the energy and labor required to standardize it into an investable product.
The only reason you spend/trade in ANY coinage is to buy silver. And nickels and copper pennies should absolutely get separated out and stashed away.

Because it's such a common kind of coin even I know about them.

>>55976795
Yes, that's my issue with gold. Gold is valuable because high level kikes decided it would be the standard. While silver is valuable because it actually does stuff.
I can't help it, it's my practical mind who always have the last word in my brain.

During the revaluation, gold will shoot up dramatically, like instant x20. Silver wont. Because signed papers will have decided it this way.
But i still prefer silver. Too much sneeded. Production too inelastic. Deficits too large.
While gold value will go parabolic at first, it's value will then be set in stone by mandates, mediums of exchange require price stability.

Silver on the other hand will be the underdog, slowly creeping up, it's price eventually being decided by the evergrowing demand and dwindling reserves. Free from the needs of a stable monetary tool.

Most frens had in mind to buy silver to then exchange it for gold when the ratio correct. I think the big brain move is the opposite : you first acquire gold, then swap it for silver right after the gold's revaluation. Then you sit on your silber waiting to do it's thing.

Based. I personally just reroll my pennies and keep them as a part of my "emergency fund" I don't plan on touching. If inflation hits in a big way, a major problem the banks will have is physical coinage being worth far more than the purchasing power of the dollar. I think the covid "coin shortage" was a precursor of the system feeling like it was on its back-foot and wanting to stop giving out the coins incase something bad happened. We have evidence that when under pressure, they defensively limit the metal coinage. Also, given the scarce nature of Zinc, I think it along with all metals will be drastically moving higher whereas currency units will be devalued to eat the losses coming from the bond market. The only circumstance I ever return any coin is if I plan to purchase silver. Otherwise I am content to keep it for long term savings as a defensive hedge against the banks.

I keep them all. I just sort of earmark it as cash I hold for long term savings. Zinc is an endangered metal especially given how cheap it is. And once the dollar goes, your coinage will be somewhat of a life raft. Granted, at some point it will be worthwhile to go and unload the pennies if I want to buy silver or something. But I see no reason to go and put my money back into the bank. It may seem petty, but I really do think no one alive really has a solid grasp of just how nasty the coming depression is going to be. There is nothing too petty you can do to prep, and that includes stocking up on foods and medicines etc.

Just took it into a dark room; it glows but a bit faintly. Still definitely has radium in it
but looks cooler when I use blacklight; was using https://www.amazon.com/SE-MW10087L-Mini-Microscope-Illuminator/dp/B002E0MU70

I wanna get some tritium but I have no use for it soon. Just hoping prices don't go way up for some reason in the future
Radium is cool and since I'm incidentally on my way to an element collection it makes a good entry

>>30171770
Damn that'd be a lot. I felt like the dealer at the start of monopoly filling out my cart. The higher denominations have lower premiums obviously, so I think you should be able to buy a bunch of 50s, then trade for 1s and purchase things with those for a slightly better deal?
