On the population level, when masks are imposed, transmittion of infectious diseases slows. That includes this virus from what we can tell from the data in Asia.

You are talking of two different vectors of spread. The masks do nothing against aerosol transmission, but they are effective to some degree for droplet spread.

do you have to pay facebook different amounts to target more "in demand" audiences, IE if everyone wants to sell ads to high-earning 30 year old women, facebook should charge more to feed them ads right?
