I just started a job that makes 6 figures with insane benefits at a fortune 500 company. My previous job paid less than half of what I'm making here.

I have no idea why they hired me. Hundreds of people applied and they interviewed dozens. Two thirds of the office is third party contractors who make half what I do with no bennies and they hate my guts because they all have worked there for years and applied for this position, and I just swooped in and yoinked it (their opinions mean literally nothing to the company, just a funny dynamic).

Everyone else drives beamers and mercedes, I have to park my shitty car far away and walk in so they don't know I'm secretly from an impoverished background.

I come in every day with a front of confidence and charm but just beneath that I'm swimming in anxiety so intense that I feel like I'm going to pass out. I cake on deodorant so that I don't sweat through my shirt. Bros I think I was less stressed making min wage stocking shelves at a grocery store.. this is the first time in my life I've ever really had anything to lose AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA tomorrow's monday and it begins again AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
