Pay off all debts and the mortgage, buy quality land in the country, and buy land with mineral rights over shallow coal seams for personal use if St Angelo's "Energy Cliff" collapse happens. I'd also buy land and stake claims with desirable carving stone for deriving an income from. I'd like to get into the business of quarrying and selling alabaster, soapstone, and quality argillite (like red Catlinite, the famed Indian Pipestone). Maybe find a graphite and garnet outcrop to mine specimens like pic from. Not as sexy as having a gold mine but I have a decent understanding the process and the niche markets and enjoy that sort of honest hard work. PMs will probably just crab forever but a man can dream.
