You can get more then you paid for them if you look at sold ebay listings. Since the mint is out of stock the price of them has gone up slightly. The numismatic factor alone is keeping you afloat, something bitcoin will never have.

Thanks for the story anon always like hearing what its like on the ground in different parts, have a similar one from LA around the march dip. A "We buy gold store" wouldn't sell any silver he had either but was fine selling his gold strange enough. He had so much silver from the years of buying it cheap he plans to hold until the day hes rich.
Ended up buying some USSR Olympic silver form a pawn shop further down the road but the lady behind the counter didn't know any better.

Nowadays here it feels like anything I really need is in short supply or non existent. Lots of the cheap shit from China is drying up or increasing in price, beef at the store is skyrocketing, silver in the wild is non existent, more homeless, no one paying rent, very little economic activity... don't know if its all the QE or what but feels like everyone here is in a summer lull.
