Be glad your mobile banking app is showing even 2 years in the past, ours only shows the last three months..
While we are required to keep those for at least seven years, it doesn't have to be shown to you electronically. Go to your local branch (if that's an option) and have them print out your monthly statements for the last 7 years.. If they tell you they can't, they are lying.
They will probably tell you to kys and not be happy about it because (at least in our case) it's a lot of work, the IBM data query shit that we use is ancient and convoluted. I am almost positive that most banks outside of Chase, BofA, or the other big guys probably use the same service.
While we do this service for free, most banks do not.. So be prepared to pay some bullshit fee that you probably wouldn't be charged if you were rich.
You also have paper statements by default and need to opt out of that service, if you think it would benefit you. you should likely opt back in but odd are, you'll pay a small service fee every month to do so.
