Exactly this. I am done losing my ass off, just waiting now. There is no way in hell this is recovery mode, it is an impossibility. But due to infinite bullshit the market won't fall as it is supposed to. Nobody knows when it will, so what's the point in potentially losing even more money in the short term. Might as well just wait. The drop MUST come. All stocks are overvalued now considering the impending death and ever shrinking earnings with growing unemployment looming. This shit isn't priced in, by the end of this we are probably going to see over half of the dividend kings unable to pay up and we haven't even started on company's going out of business yet.

Good on you, but the point is that this wall is artificial. I am stuck in quarantine essentially at home, why the hell shouldn't I be able to day trade? I already grew my stack from 5k in less than a month to over 8....counting current unrealized losses. If I could day trade I might actually BE above the PDT rule by now. Why should someone be barred from the opportunity crash of a life time? This has nothing to do with accruing a bankroll, it is simple gatekeeping and doesn't protect anyone as anyone of any wealth could lose it all or make good gains. I may whine and bitch about my SQQQ and shorts, but even at a major loss I still made more money this month than if I wasn't under quarantine and working considering I wouldn't get a high paying job. It is a silly regulation that is meant to keep those without financial means down to keep working because they know that if anyone could make money on the market without large principle then less people would work which would drive stock and companies down.
