Volume + price
A up or down trend should be followed by the corresponding volume.
If price is making a higher higher but the volume is weak the trend will be weak. Only volume gives the trend it's conviction or merit.

I do use RSI to spot divergences in momentum.
But volume and price divergence is 100% solid.

It's totally logical but brainlets can't think logically.
A increase in buying volume = demand
If demand decreases - price will likely fall to attract new buyers (fresh volume)
