what ive learned is that there is more than 2 options in life, the third one neets dont want to talk about being a combination of selling some freedom/time while getting more back than just money, the fabled 'doing something you enjoy' is a real thing.
i work in 2 departments for the same company, one of them is customer facing and a nightmare cucking scenario we all laugh at, the other is behind the scenes with 2 old friends, where we all enjoying being there, that has lead to me having a real social life outside of work again after reconnecting with people who i let slip as a former neet.

for me, of all the things ive done in the past 10 years, the list goes-
>self employed
>working somewhere you enjoy for a good income
>working somewhere you enjoy for a shitty income
>neet with money
>working somewhere shit for good money
>neet with no money
>big gap
>wagecucking 'dance for tips' hell

i think most of the neets online probably fall into 6 but larp as 4, i also think its the case that everyone 4 or below who has never tried 1, 2 or 3 would say 4 should be top. the big gap makes it ok for neets to shit on wagies who are poor, it really is the better choice if somebody has the brains to pull it off but they cant say shit to anyone above them on the list imo
