It actually bothers me that some places will ask you how you want a burger done. It's ground beef, I want it well on the inside and charred on the outside.

Alright /biz/, I'm done being lazy and in an effort to get my shit together, I've just landed two jobs: One as a third-shift security officer and one as a cook at a Culver's fast food restaurant. I have no prior experience in either field and my job history is holier than swiss cheese. I feel I can do this.

I'm writing today in hopes that I can get some advice in how to move up in the fast-food industry. I have nineteen months before I leave the college town I live in and would like to advance and do as much as I can in that timeframe to sure up my resume and prove to myself that I have the discipline and dedication to succeed.

I also have set up my taxes to take out an additional $50 from both companies every paycheck(bi-weekly pay, so unsure if that means it'll take out $50 every payperiod for a total of $200 per month or $50 every check, making it $100) in an attempt to force myself to live below my means and have a nice windfall come tax-time.
