After the meeting I met up with Stacy. It's a busy life, and I can't always wait for someone to show up 15 minutes late and then carry on and have to cut them off so I can get on with my life.

You're literally never going to make it if you keep thinking about what others think of you. Put on clothes, do you look good? Good. Did you just say something effective and intelligent? No contest. Were you patient with someone having an opposing viewpoint, and kept the friendship/connection? Now you're getting it.
