At a meeting I ran today an old man literally gently placed his hand on my binder and slowly shut it. He then proceeded to tell me for 45 minutes how any investment/insurance/annuity is a scam and the only way to produce wealth is to own land. He was just a fucking high school campus cop, but apparently his family dating back to his great great great great grandfather have exclusively invested in the buying of land in rural areas for the next generation to flip for 50-400x profits.

He then spent an additional 15 minutes telling me how charts, TA, and any kind of economic analysis is for retards and that the only way to measure US economics is by the activity of the Railroads. 80% of all US goods move across our borders using the rail lines. If you check the major shipping companies and their productivity is down that means goods are not moving and the economy is shit no matter what anyone says. The soviet Union kept their rail line running 24/7 until their fall as a way to encourage their people that everyone was fine, even when it got expensive to do so and they were not shipping anything.

TLDR: Old man scheduled a meeting and then raped me with his superior knowledge on trains and dynasty of country farmland lords.
