The qrd in /GME/ is, that the company is naked shorted over 100% of the public float and that this is actively being hidden buy the shorters. Reddit and /GME/ are planning to expose this and cause a short squeeze by Directly registering their shares with Gamestops transfer agent, Computershare, therefore making the shares unavailable to be lent out for shorting. This reduces the available public float, raising the short interest, effectively making it more expensive to keep the short positions open/open new ones until the shorts fail a margin call and get liquidated in a massive short squeeze(Moass=Mother of all short squeezes)

The important thing to note here is nothing about this is proven. The first post in the general has links to all the DD but there is to date no 100% positive confirmation that the naked short positions exist let alone outnumber the float.

The good thing is that it doesnt even matter. The community has become a cult. A lot of them have literally no other investments, several posts on reddit have been shared of people rationing food and other necessities to avoid selling their shares, these people will literally not stop buying and registering more shares until they own the entire float. They even set up a website to track their progress at computershared dot net.

You might think, kek baggies how can I profit from this? Easy. There is a product of limited supply (Gamestop shares) and an infinite demand (apes). As the apes remove more and more shares via registering them in their names the free float shrinks while their demand stays the same, ergo the price rises. The more the price rises the more the apes feel vindicated that their strategy is working the more they buy. Eventually normies will notice and FOMO will set in, trying to repeat the event of the Jan/Feb price spike just with A LOT more people now.

And on of course it is possible that they were right all along. In a MOASS scenario even a few shares could mean you would make it.
